Lil’s Veyl is my outlet for speculative erotica. Essentially, it’s the ‘Adult’s Only’ adjunct to The Theomythy, where resides (or will reside) the bulk of my fiction.  And we’re both here because while the web has no shortage of sites to post things of this ilk, it has a definite shortage of good such sites.  If that answer’s not deep enough, then… 42?

• What on earth do you mean by ’speculative erotica’?

Hopefully, the ‘erotica’ part makes sense. If not, you may not want to stick around here. The flavors you’re likely to find here include vampires, succubi, bondage (without the S&M), vore, and anything else with a dominant female or numinous bent. If reading about these things might offend you, or if knowing that I write about them might disturb you, or if you suddenly realized that you’re underaged to be reading adult material in your locality, you may want to try The Theomythy instead.

The ’speculative’ part is a little more complicated. Usually the term refers to science fiction or fantasy that is more philosophical than action-packed; it’s often used to describe the writings of Robert Heinlein. In my case, this often means the stories take a while to get to the juicy parts because the characters are caught up in introspection.

• What in the hells does “Lil’s Veyl” mean, anyway? Are you making up words again?

Lil is Lillith, first wife of Adam, consort of the Devil, mother of vampires, succubi, lamia, and pretty much any monster that bumps your bed at night. The Veyl is her brood - her minions, and therefore the interesting parts of my stories. Both terms are fleshed out more at the Theomythy Workshop.

• Why aren’t there any complete stories here?

There are, or there will be if you’ll be patient. The stories are being told in 5-minute serials - little gobbets of fictional goodness for you to taste each day via an RSS feed. Most of what you’ll see popping up every morning was written and pre-posted well in advance, so if you get desperate, email me and I may just toss you a meatier chunk.
